Some clients lost a century elm tree to disease and wanted to have a remembrance of the majestic elm that once shaded their backyard.  They had the tree service cut some rough rounds, and following some basic instructions they sealed the pieces and stacked them to dry for several years.  They asked if we could help them complete the project they started and since this is right up our alley we were happy to oblige.  We started by flattening the discs and applying a base coat of finish.

We welded up a base that focuses the attention on the star of the show (the elm) and then primed and finished it in a flat black.

The final product now proudly sits in their home, leaving them with a lasting memory of their favorite tree.
