Kansas City is our home. 
We left our jobs in the busy corporate world looking for something that allowed us to slow down, work together and create environmentally conscious yet stylish products that bring warmth to people’s lives. It is incredibly fulfilling for us to give new life to a tree that would have otherwise been destroyed and see it used every day in a way that enhances the new owner’s life.
We love to travel, camp, garden, and eat long dinners with friends. We started out by making furniture, garden beds and kitchen items for our family and friends which led to the genesis of Custom Furniture KC.
We are assisted by our two dogs, Phoebe & Midge as well as MK (our neighbor’s cat) that seems to mysteriously show up whenever we are in the shop.
